and he waits by shashi

in the colorful room for that radiant hue
to speak the way..he can speak to few
to respire freedom in its most pristine form
to be his self..to break the norm

to bring that smile..in the forgotten lips..
for the milk bikis..with the tea his sips
for the tinge of spice..in his bland meal
to be that balm..for the wounds that wont heal

for the morning..to hear bird chirp
to laze away when she would usurp
for her to awake..while he sits by her bed
it must now clot..so long it bled

  1. You are so very good :)

  2. A clotted wound still leaves its mark
And often hurts if proded hard

Yet she finds him with his drawn face near
Never giving up, showing her she is a dear
One who never thought much of her worth
Finds herself glowing with holy mirth

The smiles she lets creep in her face
    Are all for him…

Never before did anyone stand by
Never before did anyone show they care
She feels herself in his arms (oh my)
And knows that in there its their own lair

“What secrets have been lost in his ears?” she oftten wonders
For with him she feels herself a single entity
With him she knows she can forget all her earlier blunders
For he is different from others…there is sanctity

And now she lies in bliss
Her tired eyes close her sleepless lids
It rests assured that even in sleep he would be near
For even in her dreams her inner eye which labours
Giving her reason to cling on to life
Showing her hope…that there is light

He has done much more for her than either of them know
He has reincarnated her…and brought her back more alive
For what is living if ones soul is drugged
Its when one is freed that the splendour of it sets in
And this he has done- set her free
Yet she keeps herself burried in his arms…
She seems to like this captivity more and more
For what is freedom when you dont know where to soar

Nobody knows how this will end
But in her heart she knows this wont
She has found but a new beginning
She has found herself and more.
