The two jolts of tremor

10th September 2008,

3.05 pm

 ohhhh shikes! shashi…just felt the tremors of an earthquake!

This is the message I sent out as a reflex action to *somebody* who at that moment was offline

kay…calmed down now…nuin came off it…just two terribly strong tremors that got the whole place in an uproar….mum barking at me to get dressed…grabbing passports… (me getting my psp)…phones ringing…hmmm

 

but it didnt recur so didnt have to get out or anything

But it was damn freaky…i didnt even feel the first tremor (coz i was rocking on my chair and i thought my head was spinnin) but thn the second one..i looked around my room…and the bunk bed was moving… like literally! and there are these wired shelves put on the lower bunk…it was shaking ! and i was all calm trying to tell my mum it wont recur…and i throw open my closet to find the hangers rattling…and my clothes appeared to be ghostly…all shivering.hmmm

quite an experience i tell u…it is in times like these i thank the fact that we dont live in one of those posh high skyscrapers….heehee…one of the pros of not being able to afford such luxury eh?

PS : ALthough the ongoing notion is that these tremors were the resultant of *The Big Bang Experiment*, it is nothing more than a rumor! 

The real cause behind it was actually the Bandar Abbas earthquake that hit Iran.
